Desireé Lee-Perry, Owner/Founder and CEO of DLP: The Social Butterfly, is a networking, marketing and public relations specialist with extensive experience in event planning, strategy consulting, social media management, public relations, equity, diversity and inclusion programming, and entrepreneurship empowerment.

Prior to launching DLP: The Social Butterfly, Desireé served in a variety of leadership positions at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, CA, for more than a decade. Most recently as the communications coordinator for the Office of Marketing and Public Information. In this role, she coordinates and oversees all college communications, marketing and branding activities, and consults with divisions and departments to provide marketing strategy support, guidance and direction. She also serves as an AVC Umoja support staff member, as well as the public relations officer for the AVC Federation of Classified Employees (AVCFCE or Classified Union).

Desireé earned her bachelor's degree in marketing and media management from California State University, Northridge and her master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Northcentral University.
